I guess the Umma doesnt care
"Earlier this year, millions upon millions of Arabs and other Muslims worldwide were engulfed by white-hot rage. Norwegian and Danish flags were burned in great numbers. Embassies and consulates were torched. Aid workers were chased out of Palestine on gunpoint. Scandinavians had to evacuate Syria and Indonesia. Vast consumer boycotts were launched, supermarkets were cleared of Scandinavian wares. Trade sanctions were imposed on Denmark and ambassadors recalled to great popular acclaim.

Why? On account of DRAWINGS. DOODLES. CARTOONS that offended some but harmed none, and that almost noone in Scandinavia, including the governments, had anything to do with.

Now Israel's war machine is destroying Lebanon, bombing indiscriminately, killing children, forcing thousands to flee, ruining infrastructure. Simultaneously Israel is assaulting Gaza, seeking to create humanitarian disaster and civil war in the world's most densely populated area.

So is the Arab street on fire? Are millions of Muslims turning out from Morocco to Malaysia in solidarity with Lebanon and Gaza? Are supermarkets even being cleared of Israeli goods? Are people even giving a d**n?"

Comments:
Sadly some seem to pick and choose what demands burning of flags..banning of goods...angry mobs taking over the streets...

There is a war going on and yes many of us care...many of us want to see something...anything done but mostly the ones who can do something...sit and watch it play out on the television..

This is a proud moment for some...there are many instant "martrys" why would you demonstrate against that?

God Bless your country...the people...too bad it had to go this way...

Peace
